2683 Forrester Road, Frankfort, MI 49635

Property Description

Set on nearly two wooded acres just outside Frankfort, this classic Northern Michigan farmhouse offers a great combination of space, privacy, outbuildings and location. The 3-bedroom, 1-bath home features a main-floor primary bedroom, spacious living room with hardwood floors and a fieldstone fireplace, along with a formal dining area, main-floor laundry and mudroom. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs, along with a large attic area that may offer potential for additional finished living space. A real highlight of the property is the two substantial detached outbuildings. One measures approximately 26' x 44', while the second offers approximately 15' x 24' and 15' x 21' sections, creating excellent space for working on cars, storing boats and recreational equipment, setting up a workshop, pursuing hobbies or simply having the extra storage that is hard to find. One of the garage spaces also includes an electronic car hoist, adding even more appeal for someone who enjoys automotive work or wants a well-equipped shop space. The home offers an opportunity for the next owner to make updates over time while preserving its original character. A new metal roof adds another practical improvement, while the nearly two-acre setting provides a comfortable mix of open yard, mature trees and wooded privacy. Centrally located in Benzie County, the property offers convenient access to Frankfort and Elberta, Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake, Upper and Lower Herring Lakes, Beulah and the many beaches, trails and recreational opportunities that make this area such a desirable place to enjoy Northern Michigan.
